FUTURE CHALLENGES |

While the Sheboygan Diamond Club is committed to its
support of continuing programs, the need for expansion, especially
in the area of youth programs has become evident. We feel the first
step in supporting these programs is to make sure proper and
adequate facilities are available to the community.
We pledge our continued support to the Sheboygan Community Recreation Department and all their programs, but we hope to go beyond that and provide some services and facilities that are not presently available. An example of this would be the support we have given to the Elite Youth Baseball Program developed for the better than average youth baseball players in age groups from 10 thru 14. Presently being discussed are events such as co-ed volleyball tournaments, grade school basketball tournaments, alumni basketball tournaments, speed skating, and others. We are always looking for avenues to promote our motto of "Building a Cornerstone for Youth and Amateur Athletics". Preliminary plans are being developed for the construction of a Youth Baseball Diamond that will be used by the teams of the area consisting of players under the age of 13. This project will require the joint support of many other organizations and individuals.
